A business system is not a residential package scaled up. It has to fit an operating day, a three-phase supply, existing infrastructure and a tolerance for downtime that is usually far lower than a home's.

Commercial design depends on your tariff, your metered demand and your municipality's rules on export. Those vary by site and change over time, so we work from your actual account and confirm the local position.
Design around the operating day
We look at when the site actually draws power, not just how much it uses in a month. A premises that peaks at 09:00 has a different solution to one that peaks after dark, and both differ from a site with a flat overnight base load.
Metered demand, shift patterns, seasonal trade and equipment start-up behaviour all change the specification.
Three-phase and critical services
We install three-phase systems using multiple inverter units in a coordinated configuration, and we separate the circuits that must ride through an outage from those that can drop.
For a professional facility that usually means servers, refrigeration, access control and lighting stay up while less critical plant is shed.
Coordinated delivery
Commercial work touches tenants, landlords, electricians, IT and sometimes a body corporate. We plan the switchover, agree the disruption window in advance and document what changed.
Where a site cannot lose power during the day, we phase the work accordingly.
Monitoring and control
Larger systems benefit most from monitoring, because a fault that goes unnoticed on a home system costs money quickly on a commercial one.
Where it adds value we add local control logic so the system manages its own limits, protects against overload and makes better use of surplus generation.

- Can we feed electricity back into the grid?
- That depends entirely on your municipality, your tariff and the approval process for your connection. Rules and rates differ across the West Coast and change over time, so we confirm the current position for your specific site rather than quoting a general answer.
- How disruptive is the installation?
- Most of the work happens outside the changeover itself. We agree the switchover window with you in advance and, where operations cannot stop, we phase the installation so the site stays live.
