Keep the loads that matter running through an outage, within the limits the system was designed for.
A backup system carries the load it was designed for. Adding a geyser or an oven to a system sized for essentials will shorten runtime or trip the inverter.

Generate during the day, store what is worth storing and use the grid deliberately rather than by default.
Municipal rules, tariffs, fixed charges and export economics differ by area and change over time. We confirm the current position for your connection rather than working from a general figure.

Where there is no usable connection, the system has to carry the site through the worst week of the year, not the best day.
Off-grid systems require the user to work with the system. Load management, seasonal awareness and a maintenance routine are part of the design, not optional extras.

Smart energy and automation
Local control logic that schedules flexible loads, uses surplus generation and keeps the system inside its designed limits.
Automation is worth adding when there are genuinely flexible loads to control. On a small system with no deferrable demand, it adds complexity without much return.
