Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Bay Solar Pty Ltd. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.

This Return and Refund Policy is part of our broader commitment to customer service and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, which provides further details on your rights as a customer.


1. Order Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without providing a reason.

The cancellation period is 14 days from the date you received the Goods, or when a third party (other than the carrier) takes possession of the Goods on your behalf. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us via a clear statement:

We will reimburse you no later than 7 days from the day we receive the returned Goods. Reimbursement will be processed using the same method of payment as the original order, and no additional fees will apply, except as noted below.

2. Restocking Fee for Non-Faulty Products

If a non-faulty product is returned, a R200 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers the administrative and handling costs associated with processing the return.

3. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return, please ensure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days.
  • The Goods are new, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Used products will not be accepted for return.

Goods that cannot be returned include:

  • Custom or personalized items.
  • Perishable items or those with an expired date.
  • Goods unsealed due to health or hygiene reasons.
  • Goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above.

4. Shipping Costs for Returns
  • Faulty Products: We will cover the shipping costs for returning any faulty products.
  • Non-Faulty, Working Products: If you are returning a working, non-faulty product, the return shipping costs are your responsibility.

We recommend using an insured and trackable shipping method, as we cannot process refunds without receiving the Goods or proof of delivery.

5. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for new and unused products. The customer is responsible for covering the shipping costs for exchanges.

6. Damaged or Lost Goods

Bay Solar Pty Ltd is not responsible for Goods damaged or lost during return shipping. Please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim if necessary.

7. Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned product, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

If the Goods were not marked as a gift or were shipped to the gift giver, we will issue the refund to the gift giver.
